Rocketman vertelt het inspirerende verhaal over een small-town boy die uitgroeide tot een van de meest iconische personen uit de popcultuur. Verder o.a. met Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot, King Kong) als tekstschrijver en schrijfpartner Bernie Taupin, Richard Madden (Game of Thrones) als John Reid, Eltons eerste manager en Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom) als Eltons moeder Sheila Farebrother. Ik was erg benieuwd, maar ook aan het twijfelen. Ik kende zijn verhaal niet.<br \/>\nHet verhaal zit vol drank en drugs, dingen die ik niet graag zie. Ook denk ik dat zijn leven eenzaam is, want mensen grijpen er vaak naar bij onbegrip en eenzaamheid.<\/p>\n<p>De film vond ik erg leuk om te zien. Ik vond het naar mijn idee wel lang voelen. Het verhaal is erg goed uitgebeeld. Je kan je alles voorstellen! Je ziet een heel ander beeld dan de onzekere jongen die je ooit zag. Je ziet ook dat mensen veranderen tegen hem.
